Casie LLC ("Casie") highly values your privacy and takes the private nature of your personal information very seriously. This policy explains how we handle the information we gather when you use our website at casie.ai or our services. Please read it to learn how we protect and use your data. By using our services, you're confirming that you understand and accept this policy. If you don't agree, we kindly ask you not to use our services or visit our website.
Our services are not designed for children. If you're under 18, you should only use our services with a parent or guardian present. We make it a point not to knowingly gather information from anyone under 16. If you're under 16, we kindly ask you not to register or send us any personal information. If we realize we've inadvertently collected data from someone under 16, we'll erase it as quickly as we can. If you believe a child under 16 may have shared personal data with us, please contact us privacy@casie.ai.
Our websites
You can still browse our websites without having to share any personal information about yourself. We gather personal information from you when you fill out web forms, register for our applications, engage with our applications, or contact our company. We might request your email address, your full name, job title, and similar business details. We use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics to help analyze how our visitors and users use the Services.
Cookies
We use cookies on your browser or device to gather data about what you do online, even after you've left our service. This information helps us to make our service better and to personalize your online experience, among other things detailed in this Privacy Policy. Your browser might have a "Do Not Track" feature which lets you tell website operators that you don't want them to track your online activity over time or across different websites. However, at this time, our service doesn't recognize these "Do Not Track" requests. This means we gather information about what you do online both when you're using our service and after you've left it.
Our applications
We collect and store information you share with Casie by registering with the platform and adding the Casie application to your “Workspaces,” or platforms used for Casie training and interaction (e.g. Slack channel, documents) through the Service or in any other way. While you can choose not to share some information, it might limit how you can use our service. The personal information you share can be used for things like answering your questions, customizing what you see, and letting you know about new features. It is notable that you and your account users are in control of inviting Casie to your Workspaces. Please refrain from inviting Casie to Workspaces that contain information you do not want stored by Casie.
If you send us messages or if others send us messages about you, we may keep those messages in a file. We may use your personal information to reach out to you.
Connected applications
If you connect your account from another platform to our Services, or if you sign in to our Services through a third-party site, please know that some of the details or data from your other account (we'll call this "Third Party Account Information") might be transferred to your Casie account. This can only happen if you approve. It's also important to remember that once it's in your Casie account, this Third Party Account Information will be looked after the same way as all other info we have about you, as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Some of our services might automatically transfer this Third Party Account Information to your Casie profile. Or, these services might automatically send details from your Casie profile to your other account.
You are responsible for managing the flow of your private information from one third party Platform Service to another. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, that information becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others and redistributed through the internet and other media channels. For example, if you push a private post on Facebook to a public blog, the private post will no longer be private. You may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
Casie’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information security
Casie uses best practices in secure data transfer, receipt, processing, and storage. We utilize the industry-leading Secure Socket Layer (SSL)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology for data in transit encryption, and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) for data at rest encryption, provided by world-renowned data hosting provider(s) that abide by international standards, including ISO 27001, to ensure your data is safeguarded. Casie also utilizes security features such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) for fine-grained access control to our platform. The information you share with Casie is only available to Casie team members who really need it to do their job, such as provide technical support. Plus, all our team members are well-informed about our privacy and security practices.
You are responsible for actions taken with your Casie and Third-Party login credentials. It's very important for you to keep your Casie account and connected Third Party accounts secure. Be sure to log out if you're using a shared computer, and do not share your passwords. Whenever possible, use Two-Factor Authentication.
Third-party service providers and other entities
Casie LLC does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Casie LLC may disclose information it has collected from you and/or that you have made available through the Service when it believes in good faith that the law or legal process requires it, or when it is necessary to protect the rights or property of Casie LLC or others.
We may engage third-party platforms and service providers to support one or more aspects of our technology and operations; as such, the data provided by you may be shared for Service delivery. These third-party providers are vetted by Casie LLC for security practices and confidentiality terms.
Here are details of third-party platforms and service providers we currently use and the data we share with them to deliver our service to you:
openai.com - we use openai.com to provide AI services. We share files and slack messages that you have explicitly given us access to. OpenAI’s API privacy policy and our use of their API states that your data will not be used for AI model training purposes or for any purpose other than providing services to you. It also states that your data will not be retained beyond 30 days.
Further, if Casie LLC were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Casie LLC ceases operations or files for bankruptcy, customer information would be among the assets that may be transferred to or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Casie LLC may continue to use your personal information as described in this policy.
Limitations
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Casie LLC Service. As Casie LLC does not control third parties' privacy policies; you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties.
Except as detailed above, you will be informed when your personal information may be shared with third parties, and you will have the ability to prevent this sharing.
Modifying your information
Services can be disconnected at any time through casie.ai. You can modify your email address and contact information via Casie settings You are required to promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. When you update information, we often retain a copy of the original, unedited information in our records. Please note that even after the deletion of your account, information may persist in our records. Casie LLC will only update your information on third-party sites or send you information (phone, SMS, etc.) with your consent.
Your communications
You may provide your contact information to Casie so our team can reach out to you. In this case, we may keep those communications to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and provide Company and Service updates. We do not distribute or sell this information to any third parties.
Your California Privacy Rights
Pursuant to California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents have the right to request a notice outlining the categories of personal information we share with our affiliates and/or third parties for marketing purposes, and providing contact information for such affiliates and/or third parties. If you are a California resident and would like a copy of this notice, you can request it using this form. Policy changes
Please be aware that this Privacy Policy may change periodically and will be posted on this webpage. All amended terms will automatically take effect thirty (30) days after they are initially posted on the Site. Each version of this Policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date.
